Advice for VP

No doubt the media and liberal politicians are salivating at the prospect of embarrassing Sarah Palin by asking her, say, "who is the deputy trade minister of Sri Lanka?". Rather than answering with an "I don't know", my suggestion would be to turn the tables on the questioners with a smile and a "not my pay grade."

I think a better reply might be that while I don't know the name of every official in every foreign government I do have a good sense for what the USA stands for in the world ...

McCain made a brilliant political (manipulation of the masses) move in picking Palin. He fooled the conservative base and united the party. He has his party very excited about the ticket now. He has appealed to many gullible women that were for Obama but now will vote for Palin not caring about her voiced take on issues (opposite of Obama on many) since that does not usually come into their decision making. It is mostly about emotional connection with many women. Some of them will go back and forth a few times before the election based on emotional trickery used by both sides. As unqualified as she is the democratic ticket is even less qualified by far. Obama is no longer the only unwarrented "super star" in the race. He is the darling of the left and her of the right and they both have fans that do not know where they stand from day to day on most issues. Palin has taken the pressure well and gave a great political speech during the republicans big show. She outshine Obama in terms of delivery and humor and content. She seems sincere while Obama is an insidious pretender that says most anything he thinks will help him politically. Conservatives that would normally question a democrat mother of 5 with a newborn as VP on a ticket are crying sexism any time Palin is questioned or attacked. That is usually a charge directed at them. It is surely a legitimate issue since a good mother can't also have a time consuming career without the career or the children or both suffering. Yes that is a sexist statement and sexism is rational. Yes rationally different standards apply to different people, genders and situations sometimes. A father running for VP with 5 kids is much different than a mother doing the same. Little babies do best on breast milk. Little children typically need a mothering a bit more than fathering till they are older, though male leadership is still needed. Also women rarely make good leaders and that is also sexist just as is the statement of fact that women make poor soldiers. In any case if she travels with the youngest kids while on political/Gov. business and continues to have Dad do most of the parenting, all should be ok.
No matter who wins the nation will continue to be flushed down the toilet as it has been under all of our modern presidents from FDR to Reagan to Clinton. No matter who wins the White race loses. Either candidate will legalize tens of millions of Mesztiso's and thus bring in tens of millions more. Either candidate will push for more special treatment for women and non-Whites while calling it equality. Either candidate will push an anti-White agenda. Either candidate will be strongly pro-Semetism, especially pro-Israel. Under either candidate despite what they say our industries will continue to die because of foolish trade policies that are hostile to our national interests. Either candidate will continue to subsidieze our enemies in terms of foolish aid and trade. Yes every time folks fall for the same political garbage. Every time we are told this is the most critical election with the most stark choices though their is no real choice that matters much. Every time we hear the change slogan - back and forth we supposedly change from one party to the other out of ONLY 2 choices. Yet the big picture long term trends and policies are the same no matter who wins. If voting did any good or mattered it would not be allowed.

Interesting. I have had the same exact thoughts running through my head, Discriminator.
